Just when you thought cutting your finger couldn t get worse you spy a spot of blood settling on your carpet.

Blood stains the red carpet.

All stains remove as much as possible of the offending. First mix shampoo and water and apply the mixture to the stains. The hemoglobin in blood acts as a binder and sticks to the fibers of the carpet. So if you do get blood on your carpet you must act as fast as possible.

Whether the stain is caused by blood nail polish lipstick ink or red wine there is a remedy that works at least most of the time. For this methods mix 1 2 teaspoons of ammonia with water and apply the solution to the carpet. If you spill a glass of red wine start by blotting the stain with a clean dry cloth to remove as much of the excess liquid as possible. To remove blood stains from carpet apply hydrogen peroxide to the stains and let it dry completely which will lighten the carpet fibers and hide the stains.

Then let the mixture sit for 5 minutes before applying. When it comes to red wine it is very similar to blood stains the longer the liquid soaks into the carpet the more difficult the stain will be to get out. You can also try cleaning the stains with shampoo and ammonia. Let the solution work for 5 10 minutes before blotting the spot with a clean cloth.
